Please point me in the right direction. I can't find anyone locally that can help so I stumbled upon your website.
I live in Jacksonville, Florida and recently went to a family dance that my wife's parents invited us to. I never bid on silent auctions because I'm a school teacher with three kids and I don't have a lot of money to throw around.
Anyway, they had this football up for bid and I landed it. I know it has to be worth more than what I bid on it. Apparently, The Quarterback Club met in Jacksonville in 1994 and 1995 and someone bought it there.
I have two questions really. How to get it appraised and will this letter from the Jacksonville Sports Development Authority be enough for a “certificate of authenticity”. You can tell that the letter is old and from that date but unfortunately it's not signed by someone of that organization. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Rob:
David,
That is a great piece of NFL and Florida quarterback history, and loaded with what appears to be a lot of great signatures.
In terms of getting it appraised, I would contact a reputable third-party sports authenticator such as PSA/DNA or James Spence. I believe they can give you an opinion via email, or you can also send it in for a more in-depth forensic analysis.
