Autograph Books
Before the surge of interest in autographs and memorabilia, autograph books were the primary way for collectors to obtain and display signatures. Many of the vintage historic autographs you will find for sale are "cut" celebrity signatures from them and displayed by framing them with a picture or relevant piece of memorabilia for the celebrity. Pages from that have a single signature are generally worth more than those with multiple signatures. The exception could be who the "group" of signatures belongs to, and are they relevant to each other? For example, a full page of the 1927 New York Yankees baseball team is likely worth more than just 1 signature of the team, even Babe Ruth. People do still use them even though they are not as prevalent in the past. Due to their ease and convenience of use, and the flexibility as you never know who may be at a certain event signing autographs, they can come in handy.
Disney Autograph Books
What's a trip to Disney without a Disney Autograph Book to Collect your favorite character's autographs?
Many families make a tradition of getting Disney character autographs during their visit to Disneyland and Disney World. What's a better way to teach an aspiring autograph collector than that?! And, if you miss any of the characters during the trip, you can get their
autographs through the mail
after your vacation. This is also a great idea if you have photographs of people with the characters that you would like to get signed later on as well as photographs of the Disney characters signing autographs.
