Do Athletes Autograph Sports Memorabilia Differently?

Are there certain athletes who autograph sports memorabilia differently depending on the situation?Oh, yes. I have noticed athletes that use a different signature when they autograph sports memorabilia depending on if it’s an in-person autograph, or through a paid autograph signing. Don’t get me wrong – everybody’s autograph alters occasionally depending on the situation, the mood we’re in, or perhaps how much we’ve had to drink. Think about that All Star Weekend in Las Vegas you had, for example.. Another interesting note is in the world of autographed golf memorabilia. Many of the players on tour will change the color of Sharpie they use depending on the tournament, or even each specific day of a tournament. They apparently do this as a formula to combat forgeries and also track how much they autograph sports memorabilia in a general fashion. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard of any of those guys carrying a nice silver or gold ink paint pen yet, only the standard markers! Here are just a few examples of athletes that autograph sports memorabilia differently - please add yours in the submission form below!
