Autograph Success
So What's Your Favorite Story About Getting an Autograph?
Over the past 25 years of collecting autographs, I have had success getting signatures from many of my favorite athletes and celebrities.
There are a few of the "good guys & gals" that stand out in my memory. I hope you enjoy this thread - please send us your examples of autograph success, and collecting autographs in-person stories below!
John Daly

I have gotten John Daly's autograph both on and off the golf course. The photo above was taken outside a Scottsdale restaurant in 2004. I had stopped there after watching the tournament, and overheard that Daly was rumored to be hanging out there later that evening.
Being the true collector that I am, I waited. And waited. Finally about 9:00 PM he showed up. Daly is a fan-favorite and is generally good about signing autographs, depending on his mood. He was in good spirits this evening, and signed a magazine and golf ball for me.
Daly travels to the PGA tour stops by bus and has a trailer that he makes appearances at in the evening after the tournament to sell merchandise and sign autographs.
