Collecting famous actor and actress autographs is probably the most popular category in the autograph collecting hobby. Obviously, access to movie stars is very limited, compared to other celebrities.

I have collected autographs through the mail from movie stars for many years now. In some ways it has gotten easier with the improved reliability and updates of accurate celebrity mailing addresses , but with the popularity of autograph collecting, and being one of the cool hobbies for people, the demand has also risen for celebrity actor autographs.

Movie star autographs are one of the hot selling items on eBay on any given day, with hundreds if not thousands available.



As you know, you have to be careful when it comes to autograph authentication when buying autographs in any situation, and not just on eBay.




Keep in mind that A-List movie stars receive thousands of requests each week, so you and I need to be sure to work or collect smarter, not harder in how to get autographs from them!

For instance, I have been trying to get a Catherine Zeta Jones autographed photo to add to my celebrity autograph collection for years.

When I found out she was going to be in a play on Broadway in New York, I was able to get Catherine Zeta-Jones to sign the magazine below by sending it to the location of her temporary Broadway performance. Pretty smart, eh?
