Would you believe that I literally dream about autograph collecting?

I have this reoccurring dream where I’m hanging out with a famous celebrity or athlete, and I am having them sign autograph after autograph on anything, and everything I desire.

Pretty much anything that’s not nailed down is getting signed, ha!

Unlike most of the websites you will find, I have personally stood in the "trenches" waiting all day for a chance to get that one autograph I came for.

The thrill of the chase and ultimately leaving with the signature I hoped for is a rush, and what makes autograph collecting one of the most rewarding, and cool hobbies around.

A person's signature has been compared to their fingerprint, a one-of-a-kind and unique expression. There is something extraordinary about seeing a famous person, or your childhood hero in-person, and to experience them signing autographs for you.

Just think, for one moment in time you and that famous athlete or celebrity were at the same place, at the same time, and passed an object autographed from one person to the other.

I still look at special pieces in my autograph collection, and remember the day that I got them. And to me, that is what autograph collecting is all about - the memory of getting it.
