Rocky Marciano Autographed Gloves

by Mike P.
(N. Ft. Myers, Fl)

I have a pair of boxing gloves autographed from Rocky Marciano. I was 10 years old and in the hospital when he visited me and gave them to me.

I'm trying desperately to get them authenticated but don't feel comfortable mailing them out, like all the individuals I've researched on the internet, want me to do.

Any suggestions on how to go about this????

Thanks
Mike

Mike,

I can understand your apprehension in sending such a sentimental item through the mail. Many times, autograph shows will have representatives from third-party authenticators on-site to grade baseball cards, and authenticate items.

Some of these same companies might provide you an opinion based on scanned photographs you send them, but for a full authentication they are going to want to see the item first hand.

Good luck!
Rob
